At Springside West Secondary College,  we are committed to fostering learner confidence in every student. Learner Confidence is a student’s belief that they can learn, persevere through challenges and achieve success. 

We recognise that students are more likely to engage with learning, take academic risks, and persist when they feel confident in their ability to improve. Through positive relationships, effective teaching practices, and a supportive learning environment, we aim to build the confidence and capabilities of all students.

Our Learning Confidence Framework, informed by the Pedagogy of Confidence research, guides how we create learning experiences across the college.
