YEAR 7 AND 8 BOOKLISTS
Students studying levels 7 and 8 will study their core subjects and one language elective. This means that students should have resources for all subjects listed, and for the language choice that they have previously confirmed with the college. In the instance where subjects have indicated either a “PRINT & DIGITAL” or “DIGITAL ONLY” purchase option, please select one of these.
YEAR 9 AND 10 BOOKLISTS
The level 9 program contains a combination of core compulsory subjects, as well as elective options in a range of faculties. As such, the booklist is divided into two sections, with students required to order all of the resources for the core programs. With regards to the elective options, students are only required to order the texts and resources which are relevant to their specific elective program. Students will have received their finalised subject lists for the following year early in Term 4. Please use this as a reference when completing your online purchases with Campion. The Level 10 program is made up predominantly of elective options in a range of faculties. Students are only required to order the texts and resources which are relevant to their specific elective program. As above, students will have received their finalised subject list for the following year early in Term 4. Please use this as a reference when completing your online purchases with Campion. In the instance where subjects have indicated either a “PRINT & DIGITAL” or “DIGITAL ONLY” purchase option, please select one of these.
VCE, VCE-VM, and VPC BOOKLISTS
These booklists contain all of the resources required by students for all of the VCE, VCEVM, and VPC courses offered here at Springside West Secondary College. VCE students are only required to order the texts which are relevant to their specific VCE program. Students will have received their finalised subject lists for the following year early in Term 4. Please use this as a reference when completing your online purchases with Campion. VCEVM and VPC students may need to consider both this and the VCE list to source resources for their courses next year. If you are unsure, please see the Senior Sub-School Team for clarification.
VCE STEP-UP PROGRAM
All VCE booklists contain resources that students will commence using as part of the step-up program on 24-11-2025. As such, it is essential that these texts are purchased in advance in order to facilitate students accessing the course material and homework tasks that will need to be completed over the term break. All other levels and programs are required to have their resources and materials in preparation for their first school day in 2026.
STATIONERY
Included under each subject heading as well as at the end of each booklist, is a catalogue of the required stationery for that course. Parents have the option whether they choose to purchase these stationery items through our bookseller – Campion – or through other retail outlets.
EDROLO
Springside West Secondary College continues to use Edrolo as a resource provider for some subjects. If Edrolo is listed as a resource for a subject that will be undertaken in 2026, please follow the instructions attached on Compass. The Edrolo platform and payment portal opened on 11-11-2025. When accessing the platform, students should register with their @schools email address. Students studying Level 7 in 2026 will be provided with their @schools email address at the beginning of the 2026 academic year, with final payments due for Edrolo by 17-03-2026.
If you have any queries about the booklist process, please do not hesitate to contact the school during school hours, directing your query to the Head of Curriculum.
