Respectful Relationships

Respectful Relationships supports our entire school community – school leaders, staff, students and parents/carers – to promote and model respect and equality, and to teach our children how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.

Springside West Secondary College implements a whole-school approach as a means of embedding a culture of respect and equality across our entire school community, from our classrooms to staffrooms, sporting fields, excursions and other school-oriented events.

This approach leads to positive impacts on students’ academic outcomes, their mental health, classroom behaviour, and relationships between teachers and students.
