The year 11 and 12 Drama ensemble performance evening offers students the opportunity to showcase their creativity and hard work on Area of Study 2: Presenting a Devised Performance (Unit 1) and Area of Study 1: Devised and Presenting Performance (Unit 3) to peers, parents/carers and the community, fostering collaboration and teamwork as they prepare. Through intensive rehearsals and public performance, students not only refine their acting skills but also develop crucial interpersonal skills like communication and cooperation. Additionally, the event promotes self-confidence and self-expression, allowing students to overcome stage fright and explore their artistic voices. Finally, it serves as a means of assessing students’ progress and understanding of key concepts within the Drama curriculum.
